View Lake Superior from the deck of the main house (location of the Basswood Suite), part of a lake home complex ten minutes from downtown Bayfield. Facing east to Basswood Island, our setting is unique and beautiful.
The Basswood Suite is located on the second floor, and is reached by a private outside stairway leading into the main bedroom.
Located in the building next to the main house are the Annex Suites. These cozy and inviting suites have the same close up view of Lake Superior, Basswood Island, and the North Channel.
The "cove" (on the property), with a small beach and picnic table, is a good place to go swimming (you can brag about swimming in Lake Superior), have a picnic, gather beach glass and rocks, or just relax. There is also a fire pit in the yard, the spot for making s'mores, telling stories, listening to the lake and watching the stars.
